Are You Ready?

I am a firm believer in making clean eating and fitness a way of life, not just a short-term "sprint" to "get skinny," only to pull those fat pants right back out within 6 months. But in order to commit to a healthy lifestyle, you must be ready.

Like any other problems people face, you must first admit that there is, indeed, a problem. A problem with your eating, your level of activity, your continuous use of diet pills, fad diets, and yo-yo dieting. Once you admit that this IS a problem, and stop making excuses, you can then move on to the healing phase. In order for this to work, you must commit to one change at a time. Too many changes at once is overwhelming and is sure to end in failure. But if you are patient, you will have eliminated all of the foods and habits that were making you sick, depressed, and fat - without even realizing it. It may be a long process, but you will find that not only will you heal physically, it will happen emotionally as well. Slow and steady truly does win the race.

If you make that commitment, that CHOICE, I promise that you will see your body, and even your life, make a turn for the better. You will have more energy than you thought existed, and you will not look back. So if this applies to you, tell me, are you ready?
