Before and After

I don't have many photos of myself since my son was born (especially from soon after), but I do have a few. I was so disgusted with how much weight I had gained that the only reason there are hospital photos of me is because I can not control what my family members do. Ha!

Also, without my approval, my husband took pictures of me from behind on my very first walk out with my newborn baby. It was the first time I had walked more than a few feet since I went on bed rest a few months prior. Below is that photo, along with the most recent picture of me. It it the closest thing I have to full-body, and it was taken back in May. I have lost a few more pounds since then.

I am posting these because I feel that if I am going to preach about exercise and losing weight, I have to show proof that I actually did it myself. As of yet, I don't believe that I have posted any photos of myself on this blog. For the record, my biggest struggle with weight loss was my love of chocolate and sugar. I still struggle with it, but since I learned how to Eat Clean it hasn't been as hard to turn the stuff down. And trust me, if I can do it, you can too! I know that anyone who has enough desire and dedication will come out a winner (or would it be a loser?). Ok, I am stalling now. Here's the pics:

You look fantastic now, but you looked great back then too. I think you are way too hard on yourself.

You look great. Xocaii chocolate (the healthy chocolate) has helped me reduce my sugar consumption 80%. You should investigate. I found that I craved sugar mid afternoon when I needed energy and this stuff satifies my craving and naturally gives me energy. It's straight chocolate without dairy and sugar so the antioxidant level is really high.

Thanks, ladies! I will have to try out that chocolate, too. I haven't heard of it before. I hope I can inspire, motivate, and help people by teaching them what I know. That is my ultimate goal!
