Weekly Workout: Scissor Lunge


This exercise works your legs, butt and core. It is basically a regular lunge, but instead of moving back to standing position before doing the other side, you jump.

Here's how Shape explains it: "Stand with feet together, then jump left food forward and right foot back (arms move in opposition to legs). Jump up and reverse legs, so right foot is forward and left foot is back. Jump...switching legs one more time, and lower into a lunge. [Continue this pattern], lunging on [every] third jump."
